Um........

What can I say, I am extremely disappointed in my Redskins and all I can do is nothing.  Like most sports fans, I get so into the game and wind up throwing something at the tv over a bad play or bad call that come Monday morning I am for the most part unable to communicate with my coworkers.  At least I have my fantasy team, who sits at 5-2 and 2nd in my league! What can I say, I love this sport!

In other news, Sarah and I have just bought a house!  We will be going to settlement on Nov. 17th and look to move in on Dec. 9th.  Our lease with the apartment complex we live in now doesn't end until Dec. 30th so we are going to take our time with moving boxes and things in to the new house.  I will add some pictures next time I post.  Ok, ok, when I get a chance to post.

So long for now.

Vacation

I know, it's been too long since I have made a post.  So, I now return to grace you all with another wonderful post.

Sarah and I have just returned from a week long vacation in Canada (eh?) at the beautiful Niagara Falls (eh?).  We were celebrating our 1 yr anniversary!  When I think back at the last year I can't hardly believe that it's been a yr already.  It seems like just last wk that I was sitting in Pastor R's office with my best friend, Paul, so very nervous and excited to be marrying the only woman I have ever truly loved.  But, as I look back, I can see how God has truly blessed me beyond anything I could of ever imaged.  This past yr with Sarah has been one of the most challenging and also the most rewarding yr of my life.  I would not change any of the things that have happened and I can say that I am very glad to be sharing all of my joys and fears with Sarah!

Ok, now to the music! (eh?) (Sorry about the "eh?', spending a week in Canada kinda rubs of on you a little)

I bought the Petra Farewell DVD before we left for vacation and couldn't wait to watch it.  My suggestion to all of you, just buy the album.  I know, this must come as a surprise to you all, but I have to be honest.  The album is great, you can sing along and just picture what it was like to be there live, but the DVD leaves you hanging.  No extras, no bonus features, no live version of Judas Kiss!  Trust me, stick to the album.

Ok all my peeps, that is all for now! EH?

Dan "Moneybags" Snieder

How in the world does this guy keep spending money and yet remain under the sallery cap!  I have an idea, since he has that much money, he can send me a couple mill.  Why not! I've had to watch my team throw all this money away for 7 straight yrs (before Joe returned) and got nothing for it!

Ok, unrealistic, I know, but you get my point.

It has, however, been nice to see that he isn't afraid to make big moves to help the team.  Like it not, Jerry Jones and George Steinbrenner have been doing it for the years.  But you can also argue that it hasn't help either team a whole lot lately.

All I can say is, in the end, I hope Dan isn't doing more harm to the team than good.

Ok, now I must talk about the album I have chosen this week.  Audio Adrenaline is a bad that I have like ever since I saw them in concert with DC Talk back in......um.....well, never mind when.  But as of late they, like must other Christian bands, have decided to go with a more "Contemporary" sound.  None the less, this is a pretty good album.  Nothing ground breaking, just one worth to have in your collection.  Possibly the best song on the album is their cover of "Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher".  This somg proves to be AA worthly as did another cover the did on their album "Bloom", "Free Ride".

Ok, that't it for me.

Peace!

I'm back

Yes, I know, it's a long time since I have posted anything.  Let me start by apologizing to my devoted readers. (David)

Ok, on with the post.

March Madness has struck us all!  Maryland actually has a chance to get in, not the way must would like, but it's a chance.

How about them Redskins.  One minute, we have LaVar as the center of the defense and the next, he's gone.  The good thing is, it's been proven that the "D" can hold up without him.  Just look at Marcus Washington, nough said.  The bad thing is, he will likely go to a team in our division.  I've that the Eagles might make a bid on him, seeing as they currently have former Skins in Jeremiah Trotter.  On top of that, I have just read that the Giants, who have another former Skin in Antonio Pierce, could also be looking to sign LaVar.  Then there is Patrick Ramsey, who is looking at the Jets, Dolphins, Vikings and Bears.  Oh my, so much.  All I can say is that this off seasons will be one for the records.

Next topic, if you haven't heard the album I've listed above, then you should check it out.  I know, it's an old album, but it's one of the best available and the best album Petra has ever released.

Ok, enough for now.  I will try to get better at this blogging thing and post more often so my loyal readers don't hunt me down and flog me.

I was one of the many who ran out to get the newest POD album and I can say that it is pretty good.  I will diffenetly recomend to all to at least give this album a listen.  I will also recomend that you take a moment and see these guys in concert.  The energy and passion that flows from these guys is unbelieveable!  You have to be there to know what I am talking about.

Anyway, next topic.

As we approach SuperBowl XL I find myself liking the Steelers, although I am sure it has been very difficult for them to have played 3 road games in a row.  With that said alone you have to tip your hat to them.  But, I also find myself wanted to stay loyal to my conference and seeing as Seatle beat the Skins I like there chances of winning the big game.  I guess I will, like many, just sit back and enjoy what could unquestionably be one of the best SuperBowls ever.

Peace!
